PAUL SIRMONS is an indie film maker and has worked 40 years in film and TV. He started as an assistant director on classic series like The Waltons, Quantum Leap and Falcon Crest before moving into producing and directing. Sirmons has produced seven movies, and most recently two Native American dramas, Te Ata and The Chickasaw Rancher which will premiere on Netflix in November. He directed and produced the award-winning family movie The First of May, starring Julie Harris, Mickey Rooney, and Joe DiMaggio, and has line-produced three faith-based features, Letters to God, Home Run, and To Write Love on Her Arms.
He is the current president of ICVM and its 49th annual ICVM Crown Awards. He served as Florida’s State Film Commissioner under then-Governor Jeb Bush, and is married to Sherry Sirmons, a production accountant. They are blessed with 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
