Dr. Akinpelu is a 1995 graduate of the Medical School of Obafemi Awolowo University. She proceeded to train as an ENT Surgeon and worked in this capacity at OAU/ OAUTHC until 2010 when she relocated to Canada. She went on to obtain a PhD in Neuroscience at McGill University and a Post Doc at University of Tennessee. She returned to Canada to practice Family Medicine, an aspect of medicine that has opened up a lot of her ministerial expressions. She has several publications highly reputable journals of Medicine. She is a singer/ songwriter who loves to sing worship to the Lord, and serves in various other aspects of ministry and church supportive work.
Dr. Akinpelu is married with children.
