Joy Odafe is a Kingdom-minded lover of God who is passionate about teaching the next generation to love God.
She is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner practicing from the State of Texas. Joy has Bachelor of Arts Degree in Classical Studies (Latin and Greek) from University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 1991. She obtained a Master of Social Sciences in Industrial and Labor Relations from University of Ibadan in 1997 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston Texas in 2008. Joy further obtained a Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner from University of Texas Medical Branch in 2013. She has a Diploma in Bible College/Seminary Prep from Opened Bible Academy in Houston Texas in 2018.
Joy has been involved in various ministries including the prayer ministry, children’s ministry, women’s ministry, drama ministry, communications & media ministry, among others. She is the general secretary and the general editor of the magazine for Vision Carriers Texas, the general editor of The Kingdom Catalyst, the magazine of Mount Zion Institute Alumni International Fellowship (MZIAIF), the membership coordinator of NACEDRAM Texas, and one of the online hosts of North East Houston Baptist Church (NEHBC) where she fellowships.
Her interests include discussing scriptures, spending time with family, reading/writing, traveling. She is happily married to Innocent Odafe and together they have 2 lovely miracle sons.
